Martin Holloway (August 27, 1944 – June 24, 2024) Years at school: late 1950s Martin Holloway was a pupil at Bishop Wordsworth’s School in the late 1950s where he got to know the Browning brothers Geoff and Jerry and their sister, Susan, who later became his wife and my mother. RICHARD HUGH TAYLOR (1937 – 2024)
Years at school: 1948-55 The younger son of Robert (“Tarzan”), BWS teacher from 1922 to 1963, Richard read English at Christ’s College, Cambridge and after National Service embarked on a distinguished career as a reference/research librarian principally for the London Borough of Lewisham but earlier also for the library of the Royal Society of Medicine.
